Mistura Quartet is a Dallas ensemble of great versatility. The members are graduate students or alumni of SMU, Juilliard, UT Southwestern Medical School, Princeton, and Yale. Mistura in Portugese means blend. Founder Richmond Punch along with members Johanna Chan, Gaston Colloca and Maureen Nilsen are of all different nationalities and come together in one beautiful accord playing Classical, Broadway, Tango, Rhumba, Jazz, Bluegrass, Rock music and more. Mistura is not only a string quartet, but two of its members also play guitar, adding to the ensemble's creativity.
